Smart Clean

Smart Clean is a portable device for cleaning draft beer lines in bars. The compact unit stands inside the bar, so an external cleaning service is not needed. The bartender connects water and power, switches the line input from the keg to Smart Clean, and starts the cycle from a mobile application. Four lines are cleaned at the same time. Each cleaning process is adjusted to the usage, beer type, cooling system and line length. The body is made of formed aluminium sheet metal, and the handle is covered with leather.

Smart Hydro

Smart Hydro is a touchless water dispenser designed for shared spaces such as offices and gyms. Infrared sensors on the side panels detect the hand of the user and the container placed on the counter. Water then flows automatically and stops when the container is lifted away, so physical contact is reduced. The main body and the arc are produced by plastic injection, while most internal support parts are bent from aluminium sheet. The dispenser is 140 cm high, 36 cm wide and 40 cm deep. The form can be approached from several angles.

Victoria Calvatone

3D Visualization of Victoria Calvatone is a computer graphics project that presents an ancient Roman bronze statue inside a Roman interior of The Hermitage Museum. The statue was first scanned, then modeled, textured, animated and rendered with digital sculpting and rendering software. The work reproduces the aged bronze surface and the color of the original figure, which is 170 centimeters high. Still images and video files were produced. The visualization forms part of a research and restoration process.

Yinyun

Yinyun is a ceramic art installation composed of 85 unique 3D printed units. Generative design algorithms were used to extract electric data and to visualize the data on every unit, together creating a gradient effect. The units were fabricated by ceramic 3D printing, using a mixture of white porcelain and coal ash recycled from a power plant. The printing process also creates a detailed surface relief on each piece. No two units are alike. The installation is permanently placed in an exhibition hall in Taipei, Taiwan.

Cancer Assassin

The artist sought to create a portrait of the dramatic moment the death grip of a Natural Killer T cell overcomes a cancer cell's defenses, memorializing a moment humanity desires. Cytotoxic Natural Killer T cells are cancer assassins that induce cancer cells to undergo programmed cell death known as apoptosis. Natural Killer T cells recognize specific sites on the surface of cancer cells called antigens, bind to them, and release biochemical proteins that form pores in the cancer cell's membrane and specifically induce the cancer cell to destruct.
